A – ADMIT to God that you are a sinner. Repent and turn away from your sin. 1 John 1:9 – If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
B – BELIEVE that Jesus Christ is God’s Son and accept God’s gift of forgiveness from sin. Ephesians 2:8-9 – For by grace you are saved through faith, and this is not from yourselves; it is God’s gift – nor from works, so that no one can boast.
C – CONFESS your faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. Romans 10:9-10, 13 – If you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. With the heart one believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth one confesses, resulting in salvation. For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.
